RESEARCH FOR WIX WEBSITE 'ABOUT ME' BIOGRAPHY PAGE

When looking for inspiration and ideas for designing and writing my 'biography' page, I looked at several websites for writers and artists. To begin with, I looked at some of the artists I intend using for my website, which is focused on artists who work experimentally with digital mediums. I thought Roy Ascott's 'bio' page (Figure 1) was 'OK', but there wasn't enough text info above the page's 'fold'.

I also looked at William Latham's own website (Figure 2), but found that the design was a bit too 'fussy' for my preference for clean white space. Plus I was not sure how well this design would translate when viewed on a smartphone screen.

Probably the closest I could find to the white space feel I was looking for was Rufus Wainright's page. See Fugure 3. Love his version of Hallelujah!
