HOW TO USE QUOTES IN RESEARCH AND LINKING REFERENCES TO ORIGINAL TEXTS/RESOURCES

The following text is a combination of a quote from the artist Mandy Barker's website and comments about her work, which I found on 'one of the largest visual art, design, and culture blogs on the web' (Collosal, 2018):
Barker creates eye-catching photographs that document plastic debris in the world’s oceans. She liaises with scientists and environmentalist organisations (e.g. GreenPeace) who research oceanic debris fields around the world. She uses Photoshop to create images that mimic how rubbish looks as it is suspended in water (Collosal, 2018). Barker states that the aim of her work is to 'stimulate an emotional response in the viewer by combining a contradiction between initial aesthetic attraction along with the subsequent message of awareness' (Barker, 2108).
Notice how I have linked the reference (e.g. Barker, 2018) to the exact webpage from where I took the information. Also, see how I have done the same for Barker's photograph below, and that I have made sure to include the title of the piece.
